Career Coaching
UNA-Canada’s programmes celebrate diversity, empathy-based learning and solution-seeking opportunities to shared challenges. We invest across generations supporting Canadians, especially young Canadians, as they tackle global challenges including health, diversity, peace, and the environment. Your contribution can support youth participating in our many programmes, which include the following:
International Youth Delegate
Provides an opportunity for Canadians, aged 18-30 to participate as fully-funded delegates at UN conferences and meetings. This programme runs in commemoration of the UNA-Canada staff and delegates lost in the 2019 Ethiopia Airlines crash.
Science and Technology Internship
This programme is dedicated to creating and providing quality green employment opportunities for youth in the natural resource sector by offering up to 75% wage subsidies to employers across Canada.
Building Young Professionals
Supports youth from across Canada in building the skills and networks required to succeed as innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs in the green economy of the future.

Action planning: Career coaching involves creating a step-by-step action plan that outlines the necessary steps to achieve the individual’s career goals. This includes identifying potential obstacles and developing strategies to overcome them, as well as setting timelines and benchmarks to measure progress.
